We worked closely with the RIMOWA team around the theme “The Chain Reaction of Coming Home,” creating a series of animations, digital red envelopes, sticker packs, Year of the Snake luggage-tag stamps, and a Lunar New Year gift set for the brand’s 2025 campaign.

Different from the typical approach to New Year campaigns, RIMOWA’s Year of the Snake animation adopts a more distinctly children’s-illustration style. A set of warm, playful stories unfolds through a slightly clumsy, childlike visual language. Each of the three stories has its own focus, yet they connect seamlessly—layering and advancing the “chain reaction” of returning home for the New Year through everyday moments of tenderness.

The story animation unfolds in 3 chapters. I was responsible for storyboarding one chapter, and I also joined cross-chapter reviews and discussions to align pacing, tone, and visual style—helping keep the series cohesive as a whole.
