Kunsthaus Zürich is an art museum whose collection and exhibitions span multiple centuries—from classical works to avant-garde practices. Its recent extension by David Chipperfield Architects presents itself as a clear, geometric volume.

For this rebrand, I drew inspiration from the building’s architectural form and used it as a structural starting point for the identity. At the same time, I aimed to communicate the flexibility and openness of art itself—allowing the system to adapt across works, periods, and formats. Typographically, I reduced unnecessary visual elements and designed with restraint, giving the artwork more space to “take the stage” while maintaining clarity, order, and consistency across applications.

A custom web-based tool allows the logo to be generated and explored interactively, positioning the identity as a living system rather than a fixed mark.
